The Szeged Hungarian Studies Workshop was founded in 2016 and aims to share current researchby both novice and senior researchers in the broad field of Hungarian Studies ranging from history, literature, culture and linguistics. The informal events offer excellent opportunities for graduate students to introduce their MA theses or other research papers and receive feedback from their fellow students and professors and thus gain practice in presenting. The workshop is a forum for exchanging ideas about practical issues surrounding teaching foreigners. Also, former lectors and guest lecturers are invited to talk about their experiences teaching Hungarian as a foreign language and culture abroad.
